I. BEYOND MED. SCHOOL!

An Introductory 8-hr session that guides the student through the basics of thriving and succeeding in professional life!

10 am till 2 pm.

4 basic skill sets that are vital for success at the workplace; begin in developing those as a student and you have a real edge in any organization you choose to join.

1. Learning; acquiring new knowledge, skills and attitudes.
2. Thinking; analyzing, coming up with ideas and solutions, and making well-structured decisions.
3. Communicating; sharing your learning, ideas, and thoughts with others.
4. Executing; bringing your and others’ ideas to life, and making things happen, being as productive as you can be.

III. THE PEOPLE ADVANCED: Relationships for Success

3 pm till 7 pm.

There are three major relationship types that affect your productivity, and life and career progress; three roles you play.

1. You Lead and influence others and take initiatives.
2. You Collaborate and work with one another in a cooperative manner to achieve a common goal.
3. You Follow, understand, support, challenge and give open and honest feedback.
