Basic principles of ultrasound:
o Ultrasound physics
o Ultrasound techniques
Examination techniques
o standard examination of the abdomen
o standard longitudinal and transversal sections
o sonographic abdominal scanning planes
o transducer position sonographic terminology





Approach to Scanning:
o liver
o gall bladder and biliary tract
o pancreas
o spleen
o kidney
o Bladder/Prostate

Hands-on Sessions ( on 2 Cases Daily):

o Station A: Liver and Gallbladder
o Station B: Spleen and Left Pancreas
o Station C: Kidneys and Bladder (+/- Prostate)
o Station D: Stomach, Pylorus, Duodenum, Right Pancreas, Jejunum and Lymphnodes

N.B :To provide lasting understanding and efficient usage, participants will have the opportunity to examine volunteers or real patients in small guided groups. The final goal upon completion of this training is the correct and independent performance of basic abdominal ultrasound examinations.

Professors of the Egyptian Universities (Kasr alaini staff)


Certificate:
You will receive a certificate from New Kasr El Aini Teaching Hospital. & can be documented from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs


Cost & Fees:

500 E.G.P
Payment Should be 2 weeks at least before the Starting Date
